I was born in Gainesville, FL — lived in Lake City and Pace until 5th grade when my family landed in Opelika, Alabama, right next to Auburn. Six kids: Makai, Raeden, Charles, me, Drue, and Myla. Son of Charles and Drucilla Gagliano.
Coming out of high school I was underrecruited. Almost didn't play at the next level. Coach Mason came and got me late, and I'll be grateful for that every day I strap a helmet on.
I carry my American Samoan heritage everywhere. I play for my family — for every sacrifice they made. I lost my grammie and she made me who I am. Every snap is for her too.
My teammates call me Positive. Loving. Leader. That's all I want to be — on and off the field.
